Paying in crypto and receiving fiat in 2025

This historical guide describes crypto-to-fiat payment workflows using Request Finance and Mt Pelerin in 2025. Web3 teams may hold crypto-assets such as stablecoins while needing employees, suppliers or service providers to receive conventional currency. The steps below reflect the interfaces and processing times described in the original guide; confirm current terms before initiating a payment.

Request Finance

1. Complete the business verification process

Start with Know Your Business (KYB) verification. In the payment menu, choose the crypto-to-fiat option. Enter the required company information, including registration and postal address, and prepare the shareholder register and certificate of incorporation. Read the terms and conditions, then select the supported fiat currencies relevant to your payments.

2. Submit the verification documents

The verification partner reviews the company documents. The original guide gives an indicative review period of three to five business days and states that an email is sent once KYB is completed. This is a historical estimate, not a guaranteed processing time.

3. Receive the invoice

Before paying, receive an invoice in a supported currency, identified in the guide as US dollars or euros.

  1. The issuer opens “Get Paid” and creates a new invoice.
  2. They select you as the customer or add your company’s details.
  3. Alternatively, your InvoiceMe link can pre-fill your business information. The issuer completes the payment method, description, quantities and prices.
  4. They select the currency and whether the invoice is a one-off or recurring invoice.
  5. They choose or add the bank account that will receive the payment.

4. Make the payment

Return to the payment menu and select the invoice awaiting payment. Choose the network and asset to use, check the details, then use the payment action to initiate the transaction.

5. Follow the transaction

A status banner shows the transaction’s progress, with a link to follow it on the blockchain. The original guide describes an average of 24 hours for receipt in the beneficiary’s bank account and email notifications when the invoice status changes. Actual settlement depends on the service, checks, network and banking process.

Mt Pelerin

1. Open the invoice-payment service

Visit Mt Pelerin and select its service for paying invoices with crypto-assets from the services menu.

2. Choose an authentication method

The original guide describes two options: identification by SMS or through Bridge Wallet.

3. Follow the SMS workflow

  1. Select SMS and enter your telephone number.
  2. Enter the verification code received by SMS and continue.
  3. Enter your email address and continue.
  4. Enter the invoice amount in euros or Swiss francs.
  5. If required, add an invoice reference for the beneficiary.
  6. Enter the beneficiary’s bank details.
  7. Upload the invoice.
  8. Choose the crypto-asset and sending network. The original article mentions more than 30 assets and 11 networks; verify the current supported list.
  9. If the service supports your case, add further invoices to pay them in one crypto transaction.
  10. For company invoices, use the business option identified in the interface and follow its additional instructions.

Keep the invoice, transaction reference, conversion information, fees and settlement evidence together so the payment can be reconciled in the company’s accounts.
